International Student Services Global Banquet
The global banquet to raise funds to support scholarships for international students began at 6:30 pm in the multifunctional hall of the Fredonia Williams Center, State University of New York. It is open to students, faculty, staff, staff and community members. The buffet dinner on behalf of the home country of Fredonia international students will include: Taburi salad, seaweed salad, breaded pork chop, grilled meat, vegetable curry, vegetable dumplings, vegetable tempura, tiramisu and various beverages. Fredonia student performances and themed basket lottery will also be exhibited. The banquet is hosted by the International Student Service Center and is free for Fredonia students holding tickets. The business hours of Chautauqua County and Mayville Community Chambers will be held from 5 pm to 6:30 pm at Chautauqua Suites at 215 Westlake Road, Mayville. Two representatives of any member company of the Chamber of Commerce can participate for free, and it is $15 for non-members. Enjoy socializing, appetizers and cash. Anderson-Lee Library Presents: Terry Jones’s Native American Tradition Month Lecture
The registered members of Seneca Nation of Indians are members of the wolf tribe. He shared his passion for the history and culture of Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) through film works. He will show the videos he made while studying historical trauma and American Indian boarding school experiences, and will show his short film "Thomas Indian School Reunion" and his yet-to-release short film "Barbaric/Future". Chautokwa County Health Committee Meeting
The meeting will be held at 6 pm in the basement meeting room B-14 of the HRC Building, 7 N. Erie St., Mayville. Comments received from the public will be accepted as communications and may not be read during the right to speak. Public comments during the meeting must be published in person. Audubon Holiday Cardboard Village Homemade Day
